At Holy Trinity Church of England Primary School, we believe it is important to develop our understanding of the core Christian Values and think about how we carry these out in our everyday lives. This helps us to develop our moral and spiritual awareness and become good learners and better citizens within our community.
We seek to explore the meanings of the core values and their significance through weekly acts of worship, religious education and through our interactions with one another.
The gifts of truthfulness, friendship, trust, peace, courage perseverance, compassion, service, humility, respect and reverence, responsibility, wisdom, hope, creativity, forgiveness, generosity and justice are the values we want our children to leave us with.
Whilst these gifts are inclusive of human values, we try to anchor them into the Christian faith by relating them to the Bible through stories and readings.
As a school we have voted on the five core values that we believe reflect our ethos. The values that we have chosen are:
Our Faith ID was written by our children's Spiritual Team. These are the rules that we follow on a daily basis in the classroom and the playground and are rooted in our five core values.
