Holy Trinity C of E Primary School

This Week:

This week we participated in Safer Internet Day and discussed the importance of talking safely online and whether we should share private information.

We were also part of a Well-Being workshop which helped us to explore how to handle our anxieties, teaching us coping techniques to use when we become worried and/or stressed.

On Friday, we celebrated Kindness Day (as well as Valentine’s Day).  We discussed the wider impact of being kind to one another and how kindness is a muscle that needs to be exercised.  The celebration culminated with us planting our own sweet pea seeds.  Take good care of them and they will grow.

Talk Homework is due in on Mondays.
English and Maths Homework is due in Wednesdays.
Reading Diaries to be handed in Thursdays.

Green group:
No spellings this week.

Reminder: please restock your pencil cases with the correct stationery- lots of us have ran out of glue.
We would be very grateful for donations of boxes of tissues for both classes.

PE lessons will take place on a Wednesday and Thursday but please ensure PE kits are in school every day.

As it is now getting colder, feel free to adjust children's kit to a plain grey/navy/black sweatshirt and tracksuit bottoms.  No hoodies should be worn or any kit with large logos.

Thank you.

Reading/Homework Diaries
Diaries will need to be handed in on a  Thursday morning.

In terms of reading, we would like you to read every evening. However, you only need to make four entries in your diary. Please make sure that your diary is signed by someone at home before handing it in on Thursday.
