Holy Trinity C of E Primary School

This Week:
This week, we have thoroughly enjoyed further exploring our key text 'Treason'.  Using the themes of the book and our Tudor topic, we developed our understanding of using colons and semicolons in complex lists.
In Maths, we refined our understanding of short division, and worked together to solve difficult multi-step word problems.  We look forward to more problem solving during 'Maths Week' next week.
In Science, we have delved into the different functions of the four key components of our blood.  We have discovered lots of new and exciting information about the heart, and started to unearth the complexities of the respiratory system.
In PSHE, we have explored what information is and is not safe to share online.  We have discussed friendships and focused on how we communicate with others over the internet.  This theme will be continued next week where we will consider who is and is not safe to speak to on social media, whilst considering our digital footprint.
Talk Homework is due in on Mondays.
English and Maths Homework is due in Wednesdays.
Reading Diaries to be handed in Thursdays.

We would be very grateful for donations of boxes of tissues for both classes.

Please check ParentMail for information.
Please check this regularly as Bikeability will be on a first come first serve basis.

Children need to be able to attend the course each day in order to achieve the Bikeability certificate.

PE lessons will take place on a Tuesday and Thursday but please ensure PE kits are in school every day. As it is now getting colder, feel free to adjust children's kit to a plain grey/navy/black sweatshirt and tracksuit bottoms.  No hoodies should be worn or any kit with large logos.

Thank you.

Reading/Homework Diaries
Diaries will need to be handed in on a  Thursday morning.

In terms of reading, we would like you to read every evening. However, you only need to make four entries in your diary. Please make sure that your diary is signed by someone at home before handing it in on Thursday.
