What Have We Achieved This Week:

You have returned to school refreshed and relaxed after the two week break which is great as it is going to be a jam packed term!

This week in English, we have been looking at the book ‘Magpies Treasure’, getting to know the story and thinking about how the book could be improved and up levelled. We are looking forward to reading your up levelled versions next week.

Even though the weather is getting better outside please remind your children that they still need to bring a light jacket to school as well as a jumper. The weather can still be very unpredictable.

We will be visiting the Imperial War Museum on Thursday 2nd May, please ensure your child has a packed lunch, refillable water bottle and waterproof coat.

Pencil Cases
Please restock your pencil cases with the correct equipment.

PE
PE lessons will take place on a Monday and Thursday but pleasure ensure PE kits are in school every day.
Please ensure children's PE kits are adequate for the colder weather. Children can wear jogging bottoms and a non-hooded jumper. These both need to be black or dark blue/grey.

If, for any reason, your child is unable to take part in P.E, please inform the class teacher directly, send an email or write a note. Otherwise, they will be expected to take part.

Reading/Homework Diaries

Diaries will need to be handed in on a Thursday morning.

In terms of reading, we would like you to read every evening. However, you only need to make four entries in your diary. Please make sure that each entry is signed by someone at home.
