YEAR 6

What Have We Achieved This Week:

You have had another busy week. You all embraced the Tudor theme day on Tuesday by dressing up, acting in role, dancing, making Tudor Roses, making pomanders and feasting on a typical Tudor banquet.

You have also begun thinking about your Tudor house design by using straws to build your prototype frames in preparation for next week.

Homework:

Talk Homework

Next week you will be writing a setting description where you will travel around the dark corridors of Montague Hall, creating as much suspense as possible. At home, we would like you to describe a virtual journey around the corridors of an old house.

Think about describing all of your senses:
- What can you hear?
- What can you see?
- What can you smell?
- Do you touch anything on your journey?

English Homework

Your English homework is to complete the SPaG questions given to you in class. Please try to complete this on your own. If you ask an adult for help or check something on your SPaG mat please make a little note next to the question.

Maths Homework

Your Maths homework is to complete the Maths questions given to you in class. Please try to complete this on your own. If you ask an adult for help please make a little note next to the question.
