At Holy Trinity Church of England Primary School we are proud of our strong Christian ethos, which is at the heart of all that we do. We want all of our school community to flourish and live life in all its fullness (John 10:10). We want children and adults to start, or strengthen, their spiritual journey, during their time at Holy Trinity. Our Christian vision is to ensure that we are all Growing together as Children of God.Â
We want our pupils to grow in confidence, independence, resilience and knowledge, so that all achieve their full potential, and develop a life-long love of learning.
We work together with families, community and the church to model positive relationships, supporting each other, and acknowledging that we are stronger when we work together.
We are growing together as children of God, strengthening our faith, secure in the knowledge that we are unique, loved and cherished.
At the heart of our Christian vision is the story of Jesus healing the paralysed man, from Matthew 9:1-8. This healing reminds us of the importance of Jesus' teaching on forgiveness, friendship, care for others and trust - these are all at the centre of our school.Â
The Christian values of love, thankfulness and forgiveness underpin our life at Holy Trinity.
Worship and Prayer
Worship and prayer are central to the life of our school. Our daily act of Christian worship helps us to focus on God, right at the start of the day. Our worship seeks to be inclusive, invitational and inspirational, through bible stories, singing praises to God and praying. Our termly Eucharist offers an opportunity, for those who wish to, to share bread and wine in order to remember the death of Jesus onthe cross. The school regularly visits Holy Trinity Church for services, which are often led by our Growing Together in Spirit team.Â
Prayers spaces in the school entrance and in classrooms encourage prayer throughout the day.
